Federal Airlines route between Johannesburg and Vilanculos in Mozambique offers the option of 4 different fare classes: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze class. Each class has its own fare and applicable fare conditions.

Flights operated by Federal Airlines, have been profiled to allow a certain percentage of each fare class per flight. A fare class can only be booked if available.

Fare Conditions
Platinum Class: (Y)
The most expensive fare offering the least amount of restrictions and the most flexibility to the passenger.

Date changes / cancellations within 72 hours or more notice: 10% penalty charged

Gold Class: (S)
This fare offers more restrictions and less flexibility than Platinum class

Date changes / cancellations within 24 hour notice: 50% penalty charged
Date changes / cancellations within 72 hours of travel: 25% penalty charged
Date changes / cancellations up to 72 hours of travel: 10% penalty charged

Silver Class: (V)

Date changes / cancellations within 72 hour notice: 90% penalty charged
Date changes / cancellations between 7 days and 3 days of travel: 50% penalty charged
Date changes / cancellations up to 7 days of travel: 25% penalty charged

Bronze: (W)
This low fare offers includes greater restrictions – and is subject to seasonality and availability

Date changes / cancellations: 100% penalty charge

Federal Airlines offers two options should a date change or cancellation occur, within the stipulated times, as mentioned above. The first option is a voucher, which allows the client to hold the refund on credit for use at a later stage as payment towards another booking. In order for this to apply, the payee must be the same person / company of both bookings. The second option is a refund, to the voucher value, direct into the payee's account.

Infants	0 – 2 years of age – 25 % of the full fare (NO SEAT)

Payment:
Bookings made are confirmed up to 14 days in advance of the first sector travelled, thereafter are subject to payment being received in full for the fare, taxes and additional charges as per the order confirmation. Federal Airlines retains the right to cancel any bookings not paid by due date as per above.
